Ju-Ju-Be Medium Set Piece Series - Use #4 as a Snacks Bag

We are up to use #4 in the Ju-Ju-Be Medium Set Piece Series.  Here's a quick recap of the 3 ways to use this piece that we highlighted previously.

Use #1 - as a wallet/mini purse

Use #2 - as a toy bag

Use #3 - as a girls' travel accessory bag

Use #4 is is one of my favorite uses for this piece because my kids always need snacks when we're out and about, and this piece is the perfect size to throw in the diaper bag.  I'm able to fit enough snacks for 1-2 hours out in between meals.  But most of this is pretty much what I call bribe snacks - things to keep the kids pacified if I have to do a grocery run, or need them to sit still during another errand.

I usually have two each of fruit snacks, granola bars and organic lollipops, cause my two older kids must have the exact same thing to avoid tantrums.  I can also fit a bib, squeezable fruit pouch and travel spoon for the baby.

My fifth and final (for this series) use for this little pouch is coming soon!

Custom Bag Bling

The 5-part Medium Set Piece Series returns next week with use #4.  But today, a quick little post on some new bag bling I received this week.

A while back, I did a post on dressing up my little black bag, using a charm from one of my bracelets.  You can find that post here.  Recently, I decided I wanted more bling for my bags, but this time I'd let a professional take care of it.  ;)

In the Ju-Ju-Be customs world, Fobs by Andrea is the #1 stop for all of your bag bling needs!  She has a wide variety of charms to choose from ranging from Hello Kitty and Olaf to classic roses and bows.  I decided I wanted to go the classic route and get a fob that could be interchanged among a variety of bags.  The main colors included black, white and turquoise with a hint of pink thrown in there as well.  These are my favorite accessorizing colors so I was very pleased with the final product!

Here it is on 4 different prints and styles of bag from the Ju-Ju-Be Onyx Collection.

Be Quick - Black Beauty print

Be Set Medium Set Piece - Black Diamond print

Mini Be Backpack - Black Out print

Be Classy - Black Magic print

I'll definitely be ordering more fobs to match some of my other lines of bags.  The hard part is picking out which color scheme to go with next!

Ju-Ju-Be Medium Set Piece Series - Use #3 as a Girl's Travel Accessories Bag

Welcome back!  If you've been following along recently, you might have seen the first two blog posts of my five-part "Ju-Ju-Be Medium Set Piece Series", where I show you different ways in which I use this bag.  In case you're wondering what exactly this medium set piece is, check back on one of my previous posts for a quick recap!

And I just realized I never mentioned the actual size of this bag!  The dimensions are 9 x 4.75 x 1.75 inches.  Oops!

And on to use #3!  We are currently on a short vacay in Palm Desert, and the medium set piece shown below in the Queen of the Nile print was perfect to carry my two daughters' accessories for a few days away.

Most of the stuff we brought was for my 5 year old, which included her hair brush, some jewelry, sunglasses, and a Ju-Ju-Be coin purse with hair ties/clips.  But I was also able to fit some of my 10 month old's headbands into the bag as well.

The Ju-Ju-Be "Be Set" not only comes with 3 bags, shown below...

...but they also come with two straps - a long strap to wear the two larger bags cross body, and a short strap to use on any piece as a wristlet.  My daughter likes to use the small strap to turn the medium size bag into her mini purse.

Two more ways to use this piece coming up!  Any guesses?  ;)

Carly

Ju-Ju-Be Medium Set Piece Series - Use #2 as a Toy Bag

Earlier this week I started my Ju-Ju-Be Medium Set Piece Series, where I planto feature different ways I use this size pouch, which is the medium size in the 3-piece "Be Set" by Ju-Ju-Be. Use #1 shown below was as a wallet/mini purse.

Today I'm sharing use #2, which is a toy bag for quick trips out with the kids. They have the tendency to want to bring backpacks full of toys everywhere we go, and I'm sorry but with 3 kids, I have enough to carry and keep track of!  This medium set piece can hold 7 Fisher-Price Little People animals, which my kids are in LOVE with.

I figure 7 animals is more than enough to keep them occupied in the car, without the fear of massive toy explosion all over the backseat.  One for each hand plus a couple extras.  And, the pouch is small enough for me to just throw into the diaper bag!

Stay tuned for use #3!

Ju-Ju-Be Medium Set Piece Series - Use #1 as a Wallet/Mini Purse

It's no secret that I am addicted to the Ju-Ju-Be diaper bag line.  Did you know they have Facebook groups and B/S/T (buy/sell/trade) groups to fuel the obsession?  (So does Tula and Lularoe, which means that these three brands alone could run me broke)

But these bags are not just for diapers!  This month I'm going to feature the medium size piece in the three bag set called the "Be Set".  The Be Set in the Queen of the Nile print is shown below.

Be sure to check back for different ways I use the medium piece, which is my favorite, and in my opinion, most versatile size of the three.

Today we'll feature the medium set piece in the Black Diamond print as a wallet/mini purse.  This size is perfect for quick trips into the store when you don't want to take your whole diaper bag in.  Just grab this and go!

Inside I can fit the following items:  slim card holder with cards and ID, coin purse with cash and coins, pocket calendar, pen, altoids, lip gloss, tissue and phone.

It zips up nicely and you're ready to go shopping!

Check back next Monday for another way to use this piece!
